Dymacare® Antibacterial Shampoo Cap

Our Antibacterial shampoo cap is quick, safe and effective way to cleanse patient’s hair without using water, rinsing or towel drying. Large latex free cap is Ph balanced, dermatologically tested, but most importantly is  proven to fight common infection-causing pathogens and offer the antibacterial residual effect lasting up to 24 hours. Ideal for ICU units, pre-operational and post-operational bathing and head area cleansing where extra protection is needed.

Shampoo cap pack is designed for single-patient use, which helps to minimize person-to-person cross-contamination.  There is 1 shampoo cap, enough to cleanse head area even with a long hair.

Shampoo cap can be warmed up in a microwave/warmer for an added comfort.

One pack is designed for use by one patient and will enable them to cleanse their head area. Nursing staff should assist if the patient is unable to use the cap themselves. Shampoo cap can be warmed for 30 seconds in a microwave or used straight from the pack. After the cleanse, allow your hair to air dry, no need to rinse off.

1. Put on gloves prior using the product. There is one single-use cap in a pack. Open the pack and place it over the patient‘s head.

2. Massage it well and leave it for a few minutes for the product to cleanse and condition the hair.

3. Remove it. No need to rinse. Discard used cap and gloves to a bin.
